Position and Responsibilities
As a Director of Health System Partnerships, you will be responsible for selling CancerIQ solutions to healthcare provider organizations, clinicians and healthcare administrators. You will be managing the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation through closing, and ongoing monitoring for up-sell opportunities. You will be responsible for articulating the value of CancerIQ solutions to a variety of stakeholders and navigating a complex sales process with large healthcare enterprises. You will work collaboratively with marketing, customer success, and engineering team members on initiatives within strategic accounts, with the goal of closing new business and incremental business for CancerIQ.The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who knows what it takes to build and iterate on a sales process, who treats the “job” as his or her own business, and thrives on learning about new innovations in the genetics, precision medicine and population health. Prior experience selling software in the healthcare space is strongly preferred, as well as someone who is driven to surpass goals while delivering a great experience to prospects, clients and coworkers. In addition to these qualities, we are looking for the following:

  • Relevant Work Experience:
    • Ability to sell and engage with administrators, thought leaders and decision makers in the C-suite
    • 5 to 10 years of experience selling to administrative leadership / economic buyers in oncology, breast imaging / breast surgery, women’s health, population health, and hospital IT.
    • Experience selling clinical software-as-a-service solutions in the healthcare sector, preferably a new solution and not an established / commoditized one
  • Relevant Industry Knowledge:
    • Understanding of the different clinical disciplines needed to deliver identify, diagnose, and manage hereditary cancer risk, including surgical oncology, genetic counseling, women's health, breast imaging, gastroenterology, and primary care
    • Analysis, understanding, and demonstration of the financial benefits resulting from population-based risk stratification, including the downstream revenue and cost-saving opportunities associated with routine use of genetic testing

Requirements

  • 5 or more years experience in selling enterprise software solutions
  • Experience selling into large health systems with multiple clinical and administrative stakeholders
  • Proven success in closing large deals for an early or growth stage SaaS company
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Consultative, value-based selling experience preferred
  • Knowledge of healthcare budgeting cycles and processes
  • Deep understanding of strategic selling principles
  • Some travel is required
