Job Description
Under general direction evaluate, design, implement, and support sales related analytics, business intelligence processes, and systems.
- Promote Sales Analytics and Business Intelligence value and utilization within the Sales Organization.
- Understand key metrics and their impact on the Sales Organization.
- Partner with cross-functional groups to deliver Sales Administration objectives including both technical and non-technical groups.
- Act as a liaison between groups.
- Work with IT, Sales Administration groups, CRM team, BI lead analysts, and others to evaluate current and emerging technology and capabilities.
- Advocate for best practices and provide design inputs.
- Develop reporting for Sales Administration and related business groups, including requirements-gathering, scoping, solution design, development, data modeling, testing, and issue resolution.
- Develop forecasting, predictive, and prescriptive analytics.
- Train business users and provide ongoing end-user support.
- Develop power user network within the Sales organization to extend reach.
Qualifications
Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires at least 5 years related experience. Prefer experience within B2B models.
Thorough understanding and experience with BI technology, data governance, and program adoption. Thorough understanding and experience with CRM as technical user, admin, developer, etc. Salesforce CRM experience is a strong plus. Good understanding and management of business processes and underlying data, including structures and schemas. Experience in programing analytic language a strong plus. (For example: R, SQL, SAS, Python, Tableau, Qlik Data Modeling) Experience in Business Intelligence Visualization, including development (For example: Qlik, Tableau, Power BI, JMP, etc.) Experience in SAP, SAP BW, SAP HANA is a strong plus. Good verbal and written communication skills in executive, business user, and IT context.
