Your Role and Responsibilities
The IBM Public Cloud Ecosystem Business Partner Specialist works with new and existing business partners developing their IBM Public Cloud practice area. Success of the Business Partner Specialist include Business Partner competencies, demand generation, IBM sell-with engagement, and ultimately revenue growth with assigned Business Partners.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 7+ years of sales and sales leadership experience with track-record of meeting objectives.
  • Business development/partner sales experience building partner practices and GTM.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and accurately, Proven relationship, and Organizational skills.
  • Ability to understand business problems and define a compelling reason to act, articulate a corresponding IBM solution and value proposition.
  • Understanding IBMs competitive differentiations; as well as, our competitions place in the market.
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud and compelling transformation points of view for our business partners and clients.
  • Strong collaboration and negotiation skills with ability to lead the process with the client, the partner, and IBM's Multi-pillar team's interests.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills at all levels of an organization.
  • Strong background in Cloud.
  • Driven and self-motivated with commitment to excellence in everything.
