As a Principal Account Executive, you will create and develop relationships with potential customers while generating new business. As part of Center’s growing sales team, you will be actively involved in developing strategies, mentorship of new hires, and, in partnership with Marketing, be responsible for lead generation, nurturing and pipeline management. As a Principal Account Executive, you will be seen as a leader amongst the sales team, reporting to the Director of Sales.
You Will Have the Opportunity To:
- Become a subject matter expert on the Center product suite and target customer personas.
- Optimize your account distribution through data cleansing and target prospecting.
- Develop account specific strategies that engage prospects and help them understand the value of Center’s solutions for their business needs.
- Deliver value driven product demos.
- Work in both an inside and outside sales model, with email and phone outreach and travel to prospect accounts as needed.
- Be fluent is underwriting alternatives to negotiate underwriting terms with potential customers.
- Works with team and cross functional partners to establish explicit performance standards.
- Anticipates customer needs and provides services that are beyond customer expectations.
- Engage in Center’s mentorship program for existing and new hires.
- Other duties and projects as created.
What You Will Bring to the Role:
- College degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of full-cycle B2B sales
- Proven experience selling financial software and/or in a consumption model
- Experience prospecting accounts and managing pipeline to maximize revenue
- Proven ability to exceed quota and revenue goals
- Excellent communication skills, including with internal and external stakeholders and various personas
- Experience growing and building organizations through trust & empathy
- Able to multi-task and effectively manage competing priorities
- Ability to work well with people at all levels of the organization in a geo-dispersed and often virtual environment
- Ability to travel as needed
- Experience with, or equivalent of, Salesforce, Zoom Web Conferencing, Outreach, and the Microsoft Office suite of software
