Position Summary:

  • FIS is seeking a technically oriented sales and development professional with a demonstrated track record successfully developing, configuring, and demoing software packages and related services into financial services firms focused on trading and risk management.
  • We are looking for a highly dynamic individual with strong technical and software development skills with domain expertise within the capital markets industry.
  • The successful candidate is responsible for preparation of software packages including coding prospective use cases, custom functionalities, and business workflows as well as integrations to other third-party applications and data libraries.


Knowledge and Experience Requirements:

  • The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years professional experience in technical sales and development.
  • Strong coding skills and technical architecture acumen, and the ability to manage complex software presentations.
  • Candidate must have an entrepreneurial approach that is imaginative, smart, passionate, and approachable.
  • Successful candidate will design and deliver top caliber and cutting-edge technical demonstrations.


Essential Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop, build, and configure software demonstrations and environments including prospective ad-hoc coding of features, functions, workflows, and integrations.
  • Incorporate customer perspective, drivers, product/service relevancy to deliver persuasive client presentations
  • Demonstrate customer advocacy by emphasizing those features/benefits of relevant FIS software, service offerings which meet specific customer' needs
  • Answering RFI/RFPs relating trading and risk management
  • Creating technically oriented decks and architecture diagram for proposals and workshops
  • Travel is required up to 25% when permitted

Key Characteristics/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience
  • Technical and Coding skills including HTLM5, APIs, C#, .Net Core, SQL, Kubernetes, jQuery, JSON, JavaScript, KnockOutJS, ASP.Net, Typescript, Postman, Python
  • Ability to learn concepts quickly and create HTML prototypes on the fly for demos
  • Demonstrates a passion for professional excellence and a drive to constantly improve
  • Ability to understand objective and work independently or in collaboration with all internal partners, both horizontally and vertically within the organizational to successfully deliver objective
  • Leverages product, industry and business process knowledge to formulate business solutions that serve prospect business needs.
  • Must have excellent verbal, written, presentation skills
