AvePoint is excited to provide the opportunity for an EduTech Solution Engineer who is passionate about technology and sales to help organizations and learning institutions with their eLearning needs. 

You should apply for this role if you are interested in partnering with Account Executives as a key technical expert in the successful closing of new business.    

As our EduTech Solution Engineer, you’ll be utilizing your technical expertise, eLearning industry knowledge, your previous hands-on experience with market EdTech solutions, and customer-facing skills to help drive revenue and expand AvePoint’s market share in the Corporate Learning and Higher Education industries. 

What your day to day will look like:  

In this role, your job is to partner with our EduTech Account Executives as the platform expert throughout the sales lifecycle. You will be a critical member of the pre-sales process, working in a consultative role and performing customized technical presentations of AvePoint’s EduTech platform to prospective and returning customers.  

  • You will present and demonstrate AvePoint’s EduTech platform remotely and on-site 
  • You will successfully facilitate Solution Discovery, Solution Overview, and Technical Deep Dive sessions with customers 
  • You will communicate with prospective customers, assist and guide them through their evaluation and selection process 
  • You will build environments tailored to customer requirements as Proof of Concepts during the sales lifecycle to illustrate product capabilities and how they align specifically with customer objectives 
  • You will participate in writing proposals in response to RFIs / RFPs that showcase how EduTech can satisfy customer requirements with an attractive return on their investment 
  • You will help the sales team identify and understand customer business objectives and organizational needs 
  • You will establish relationships with key customer business and technical advocates and have ownership of technical sales opportunity closures 

What you will bring to our team and feel valued for:  

  • 5+ years of pre-sales engineering experience and 2+ years in the LMS/TMS industry required 
  • Advanced business and technical communication skills to align value to client business needs 
  • Readiness to think strategically to help close deals using technical knowledge coupled with sales mentality 
  • Strength in building and maintaining excellent relationships with customers and colleagues 
  • Ability to work individually and within a highly collaborative team 
  • Confident and enthusiastic presentation skills 
  • Quick and self-motivated learner 
  • University degree in relevant field preferred
