Platform Partner Manager
Smartly.io’s Global Partnerships Team is responsible for growing our strategic partnerships with platform and integrated partners. As a part of Smartly.io’s journey becoming a full multi-platform player, we need to nurture and improve our relationship with platform partners like TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest, Meta & Google in order to drive new business, retain & grow existing customers, improve our thought-leadership position and product-market fit and coordinate internal activities across different functions.
As Platform Partner Manager, you will report to the Director of Platform Partnerships in your region and work closely with the regional sales teams, CS leads, product management teams, marketing teams, and multiple other functions across the company to strengthen Smartly.io’s position in the region. The successful candidate will combine strategic thinking with creativity to execute on high-impact programs. You will play a key role in developing growth strategies and executing strategic projects with platform partners. You’ll be at the forefront of the fast-paced online marketing industry, allowing you to continue to learn & develop at speed whilst also growing and nurturing your own target market, managing relationships with large partners and scaling the operations of an ambitious growth company.
Day-to-day responsibilities include driving the partner onboarding process, executing partner joint business plans, leading weekly meetings with partners, creating and leading internal educational sessions, and collaborating with internal stakeholders in product, marketing, and sales.
As a Partner Manager at Smartly.io you will...
- Build continuously better relationships and execute joint business plans with platform partners (e.g. TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, Facebook, Google) and create positive trust towards Smartly.io in your region
- Develop processes and playbooks to scale partnerships through account plan development, customer overlap mapping, pitch collaboration and execution
- Improve platform partners’ awareness of the Smartly.io offering and success stories in order to ensure a good understanding of the value Smartly.io provides
- Systemically map platform partners’ organizations and share insights to other Smartly.io teams what actions they should take (e.g. engage with specific TikTok sales pods)
- Work closely with the regional leadership and other key internal stakeholders to drive growth and support the region’s business
- Support sales teams in driving new customer acquisition (e.g. join customer pitches/demos) & support product marketing with narrative and solution packaging towards partners
- Work closely with customer success and support driving growth for key customers and up-sell Smartly.io multi-product offering
- Act as local extension for Smartly.io product management & development and support developing our product & services
- Act as Smartly’s main POC for partner programs and initiatives
- Work with our partners to execute business reviews and joint events to strengthen our partnership
We are looking for you if you have…
- Partner Management Experience: 5+ years of experience managing partnerships and coordinating and crafting co-marketing programs with partners to drive awareness and revenue growth
- Strong knowledge of the ad-tech and mar-tech ecosystem, Smartly.io offering, product and domain
- Previous experience of working with Smartly.io platform partners (e.g. Facebook, TikTok or Snap) and demonstrated capability to create strong relationships and trust
- Demonstrated capability to work cross-functionally (e.g. with sales and customer success) and across different Smartly.io offices
- Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously
- Self-motivated, strong attention to detail, and a sense of urgency around delivering on team and individual projects.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and a fast-paced environment
- Successful track record of operationalizing and growing new business initiatives
- A demonstrated ability to evangelize and influence across all levels of an organization
