Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of digital media, advertising sales, marketing, media analytics, consulting, and/or product management experience.



Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with advertising products/services and an understanding of online advertising technology.
  • Experience scaling and creating processes to deliver results.
  • Experience leading discussions with clients.
  • Demonstrated thought-leadership and an ability to work with objections with clients.
  • Effective communication, business planning, consulting skills, and sales driven motivation.

The Performance team is the link for search ads between Product and Sales at Google. We turn product innovations into client solutions that enable our advertisers to get the most out of their Google investment. Our team brings product and subject matter expertise to sales, partnering with front-line sellers on the leading edge of search products.

In this role, you will focus on growing performance automation for clients in the Automotive industry. In close partnership with leadership, you will plan, prioritize, and engage with clients. You will grow large customer businesses by improving execution on our search strategy and empowering our sales pitches. In this role, you will be an authority on search solutions, build and nurture relationships, and will be a trustworthy adviser, both internally and externally.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world's biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird's eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Inspire advertisers to accelerate their shift from traditional search to modern search by adopting key performance solutions as part of our sector performance strategy.
  • Offer strategic consulting services on search automation solutions (automated bidding, search optimization score), partnering with pods on executing the sector search strategy.
  • Develop and adapt search strategy to meet evolving client and organizational goals within the vertical.
  • Bring search thought leadership to pods and vertical leadership to accelerate search business and drive product adoption metrics.
  • Participate in specialist communities and partner cross-functionally to evolve the product.
