Overview

AvePoint is seeking a Partner Success Manager (PSM) to develop and implement programs to ensure Partners are successful in adopting the AvePoint platform, and understand how to match them to their Service offerings to their customers, driving retention and growth within the channel strategy. This role calls for a highly collaborative, technically adept self-starter who is highly skilled at relationship management.

What will you be doing?

The PSM will be responsible for delivering a Success Plan for partners in the way of adoption of tools and service alignment. The PSM will also need to understand the full partner lifecycle from a sales and technical strategy perspective to liaise between internal and external teams such as partners, technical support teams, marketing teams, distribution business teams, and leadership.

Your Responsibilities will include:

  • Aligning AvePoint’s product line to provide a comprehensive solution that satisfies the partner's business needs
  • Maintaining a partner technical account portfolio to provide technical guidance and recommendation
  • Determining individualized partner success plans for your partners, utilizing net promoter score (NPS) metrics and other customer data
  • Identifying and understanding a partner's adoption status and support history throughout the partnership; determining how to incorporate these elements into the overall partner success strategy
  • Pursuing a strategy of goal attainment to rectify any hurdles and steer partner towards success
  • Becoming an expert in the features and benefits of our applications and services
  • Gathering feedback from digital and direct engagements to relay back to internal teams for escalation
  • Delivering web-based and/or onsite product overviews and training sessions for partners

Other qualities you'll need to be a fit for this role include:

  • University degree (Computer Science/Engineering majors preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience in a technical consulting role such as technical account management or technical business analysis OR 3+ years of experience in a technical or pre-sales role with a Managed Service Provider, Systems Integrator, Reseller, or similar
  • Strong customer satisfaction, customer service, adoption, and retention experience
  • Excellent written/verbal communication, organization, presentation, and project management skills
  • Ability to work individually and within a highly collaborative global team setting
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong experience in communicating with different stakeholders and decision makers, both internally and externally
  • Expert at customer relationship management
  • Advanced ability to understand business objectives through requirements gathering and analysis
  • Impeccable organizational awareness skills

Knowledge in the following technical areas are a plus:

  • Understanding of Microsoft SharePoint architecture, components, and configuration.  Understand the differences between the SharePoint versions and Office 365 collaboration technologies
  • Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, SMTP, and DHCP technologies
  • Working technical knowledge of current software protocols and Internet standards
