FreeWill is an award-winning, social-good startup that has raised more than $5 billion for high impact nonprofits since we were founded in 2017. We’ve been featured in the New York Times, Forbes, Oprah’s magazine, and our co-CEOs have even been named to Town & Country’s “Top 50 Philanthropists” list.

All of this is because we’ve figured out how to make some powerful (but complicated!) ways to donate much easier and more accessible. Our products make things easier for the donors who want to change the world and for nonprofits doing heroic work around the planet.

In the last 5 years, we’ve grown from 5 people to 180+ (all smart, tenacious, and kind), and continue to grow quickly. We’d love to have you be a part of this adventure.

Full-time •  Excellent Benefits • Work from Anywhere in the US (except CO, AL, or LA)

About the role

FreeWill seeks a Partner Success Innovation Director to lead a highly skilled and creative team in forming strategies for nonprofit partners to achieve fundraising goals with FreeWill tools. This will include overseeing experimentation to test strategies for digital outreach, training, and more, and codifying those strategy playbooks for target products and sectors. People management is also a key facet of this role.

The Director will report to our Senior Director of Partner Success, and work closely with our Director of one-to-one strategy implementation and department VP on the Partner Success team. They will also collaborate with our Directors of Design and Product.

If you are someone who resonates with the following, this might be your dream role:

“I love creating a visionary strategy for success, setting goals to help us get there, and empowering my team with the support and guidance needed to achieve those goals and grow in their own careers. I’m excited by fundraising and content strategy, undaunted by a challenge, and passionate about using my leadership skills to impact hundreds of nonprofits.”

FreeWill has set compensation and a non-negotiation policy for fairness reasons (we don't think that an individual's pay should be determined by how comfortable they are negotiating). As a result, we like to be transparent and up front about the compensation. When we make an offer, we provide multiple options so that employees can choose between compensation packages that prioritize salary or stock options. The offers for this role will be between $105,000 and $125,000 and this role qualifies for performance based bonuses. We also have historically offered competitive annual raises.
