About the Role
The Partner BDR is responsible for working with channel partners to identify potential opps within the channel account executives' book of business and set meetings with a Cloudflare AE, the channel partner AE, and their customer. The Partner BDR will work closely with the Cloudflare Channel Account Managers (CAM's) to follow up on marketing qualified leads that come inbound and help support pre/post channel field events.
Working within our CAM team, you'll help manage relationships with a group of identified partners as well as acquiring new partners, and support their enablement so that they are confident to refer Cloudflare to their prospects and customers. We believe in reciprocal partnerships. This means that you'll also be an internal champion to our sales team to support and represent our partners in winning new customers sourced from Cloudflare. To be successful in this role, you will be comfortable working both autonomously and within a team, and thrive on delivering positive outcomes through your trusted relationships that you foster.
Responsibilities

  • Help execute Cloudflare partner strategy for the US
  • Collaborate and communicate closely with the Cloudflare channel account manager team
  • Work partner specific leads from partner events, webinars, and inbound partner specific inquiries
  • Create and nurture relationships with account executives within our channel partners
  • Engage and educate new partners
  • Identify potential Cloudflare opportunities within the books of business that belong to account executives within our channel partners
  • Work with Partner Marketing to plan and execute co-marketing activities with partners
  • Create new business opportunities with current partners
  • Coordinate partner training
  • Adherence to the Cloudflare rules of engagement


Requirements

  • Outbound BDR/SDR experience
  • Strong executive presence, communication and influence skills
  • Strong collaboration and problem solving skills
  • Comfortable presenting in front of large groups
  • Proven track record of producing and hosting educational events, driving adoption, and measuring the impact of enablement programs.
  • Flexibility and ability to adjust on the fly, to new demands; a high sense of urgency and comfortable with ambiguity
  • Demonstrated leadership in delivering results with large-scale, cross-functional teams
  • Ability to conduct analyses and translate results to easily digestible communications including messages and presentations
