OVERVIEW
We are seeking a customer service-centric Outbound Sales Development Manager to join our fast-growing team. You will be in the driver’s seat to help us continue to define and execute an outbound sales development strategy.
At the heart of our work here at Automox is to raise the world's security confidence. We are seeking a results-driven Sales Development Leader to join our world-class team. You will contribute to Automox’s revenue generation engine by delivering pipeline at scale to our Sales counterparts. We will do this through a focus on people, process, and tools. The Sales and Business Development organization will be anchored in a culture focused on the development & training of its employees, incubating talent across the company, teamwork, and celebrating success.
THE FUN STUFF
- Drive Automox’s new business revenue growth
- Work with sales and marketing to define and refine process and strategy to improve the effectiveness of the function
- Identify, hire, and mentor top talent
- Motivate and empower the team to be successful in a distributed work environment
- Regularly report on key individual and team members to identify strengths and areas for improvement
- Work with individual Account Executives and sales management to keep abreast of their perceptions and needs
- Bring a great attitude as we develop the new team and all the fun that comes with building a great sales and overall company culture
- Standardize best practices regarding outbound prospecting and sales hand-over.
- Establish and optimize standards for cadence and messaging quality.
- Make people, process, and technology improvements that will lead to better utilization, efficiency and productivity of the sales process.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
- Has had prior team leadership experience (2 + years) leading highly functional SDR/BDR teams in the past
- Capacity to hire, engage, lead, and motivate team members and establish a healthy and collaborative work environment
- Familiarity with outbound business development tactics, and KPI’s
- Extensive Salesforce expertise
- Demonstrative executive presence and ability to influence at all levels of the organization. Proven success aligning key stakeholders such as Marketing, Sales, Operations, and BD.
- Self-starter with the ability to function independently and in a timely manner.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with business development technologies including 6Sense, ZoomInfo, Navigator, Salesloft (or Outreach), and Salesforce

Our salary ranges are based on national averages and are determined based on the level of the position we are hiring for. The ranges are wide to leave room for variability in a candidate's skills, experience, and location all which impact where someone might come in on the range.
