Onboarding Manager - Job Description

The Onboarding Manager is responsible for ensuring all designated roles within Medical Support are managed effectively and efficiently across all Aureus Medical business units.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordination & Development of Sales Support Staff
    • Planning, monitoring, and evaluating job results to include communication of job expectations with staff
    • Assessing staff performance and coaching and guidance of employees
    • Initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures
    • Work with Aureus University and Quality Assurance teams to coordinate training of new sales support staff, reinforcement training of current staff, and update to training materials/policy
    • Create, edit, and approve annual employee reviews
    • Provide back-up support to staff as needed during fluctuations in workflow demand and during staff absences
    • Develop and train new hire staff to meet and exceed team expectations
    • Develop and coach existing staff for future leadership positions
  • Medical Operations Functions
    • Ensure sales support functions are handled efficiently, with minimal duplication and redundancy
    • Work to streamline processes and procedures ensuring the greatest degree of efficiency whenever possible
    • Proactively make recommendations for improving the quality of the sales support functions to division management to enhance quality and productivity
    • Communicate changes to the sales support team in a timely manner.
    • Collaborate with sales managers to ensure continuous communication between the sales and sales support teams
    • Ensure that confidentiality of personnel and information is maintained in accordance with division policy
    • Oversee the tracking and reporting of quality assurance statistics for the division as directed by division management
    • Make suggestions for improving the quality of the administrative functions of the Division to enhance quality and productivity

  • Systems & Tools
    • Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing computer systems/applications (i.e., MS Office, Remi, Notes, Internet) to satisfactorily perform the job functions and duties associated with the position.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager or as the situation dictates.

Job Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of experience as a Sales Support Services Team Lead or at least two years of management/supervisory experience prior to joining Aureus Medical
  • Familiarity with the Aureus Recruitment process and associated Remi system activities
  • The ability to:
    • Utilize a touch-tone telephone, designated computer programs and peripheral computer equipment, keyboard for numeric entry and retrieval of data, and use of miscellaneous office equipment (fax, printer, copier)
    • Use the English language in both oral and written communication
    • Apply proficiency with Windows and MS Office applications
    • Type at least 40 words per minute
    • Organize tasks and multi-task with a sense of urgency and efficiency
    • Function as a cohesive team member of the Division, engaging in open communication with all team members and proactively working in support of the Division's performance goals
    • Comply with all company policies and procedures - including adherence to all local, state, and federal laws concerning employment
    • Develop and motivate staff to accomplish performance objectives
    • Analyze processes and recommend/implement effective solutions
