The Scaled Sales team establishes advertiser partnerships with small and mid-size businesses throughout the US. This sector is an ever growing and evolving one, and Snap believes it represents a tremendous opportunity to share such businesses with the next generation of consumers.
As a New Business Strategist, you will join one of the newest and fastest growing teams at Snap. You will develop customer relationships throughout the SMB advertising vertical and grow their investment through consultation, nurturing and support and then transition successful relationships to other teams. In addition to client activation and retention, you will contribute to identifying key market indicators relating to the SMB advertiser ecosystem, and help educate leadership and cross-functional partners on market and industry trends. Working from our Los Angeles, CA headquarters, you will help improve how we prioritize, communicate and support the SMB advertiser base, and research the broader SMB ecosystem to identify future customers.
What you'll do:
Identify, prospect, activate, retain, and upsell small and medium sized business owners on Snap’s portfolio of advertising solutions
Maintain a high daily volume of sales activity including outbound calls, emails, and social selling in a transactional environment
Reach and exceed KPIs of quality launches, advertiser retention, and revenue
Develop and provide reporting and analysis to customers as needed
Analyze campaign performance statistics and recommend performance enhancements
Take on project based work as needed to improve processes, foster collaboration and improve our sales resources
Provide customer feedback to Product and Marketing teams and support the launch of new features
Knowledge, skills & abilities:
Knowledge of social media, auction environment and digital and mobile marketing
Ability to perform well in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment
Strong problem solving and quantitative analytical skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
Someone who’s up for the challenge of building something from the bottom up

Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience preferred
1+ years of experience in a sales environment
1+ years experience in digital advertising, finance or another math related field, media buying, or agency account management
Preferred qualifications:
Passion for Snap Inc. products and marketing!
1-2 years sales experience
