National Sales Representative - Carbon Steel Pipe
Reibus is looking for a National Sales Representative, Carbon Steel Pipe to help grow our business in the industrial pipe market. Reibus is challenging the status quo and traditional hurdles of operating in the metals industry. We are fast-paced, innovative, and collaborative. You will collaborate with all sales team members grow our customer base, close opportunities, maximize results and ensure satisfaction with current customers to create repeat business.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Work with the Director of Sales to help develop Reibus’ pipe business
- Develop and maintain your own book of business in the prime, excess, surplus, and secondary pipe
- Sell the overall value of Reibus’ service offering including: marketplace, logistics, trade, and financial tools
- Maintain and secure a pipeline of active deals
- Drive listings and RFQs in the pipe segment
- Leverage your network and supply chain experience; to help introduce Reibus’ services throughout North America
- Communicate daily with customer base driving: activity, platform engagement, sourcing, quotations, and deals.
- Process oriented, utilizing Reibus Sales Playbook
- Consistently maintain activity to secure budget goals
- Make in-person and virtual sales calls
- Daily management of activities in Salesforce
- Develop strategic customer relationships with management teams of customers to drive long-term solutions and repeatable business
- Coordinate with cross functional departments including: product listings, development, and operations, to ensure continuous improvement of customer driven solutions
- Introduce and implement new ideas to help diversify revenue streams
IDEAL BACKGROUND
- 5+ years in sales role within the metals industry
- Experience with the carbon steel pipe industry
- Previous experience working at a mill or a master distributor with an extensive network of pipe distributors is a huge plus!
- Experience in buying and selling in the metals industry is required
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems
- A self-starter capable of working independently within a fast-paced environment
