About the Position

The position is responsible for cultivating mortgage loan originations, monitoring and managing mortgage loan pipelines, and implementing business development strategies. This position will recruit and manage multiple employees, assign sales objectives and ensure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are being met on a monthly basis.


Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize and implement a sales strategy for your team, while managing the P&L for that respective branch.
  • Bring out the best in the team by providing training, coaching and motivation.
  • Effectively manage daily production activity to ensure a high level of operational efficiency and profitability.
  • Monitors quality of loans originated by the loan officers and ensures they are within Company policy guidelines and applicable regulations.
  • Creating a customer-centric culture in the branch to meet and exceed customer expectations.
  • Assist in recruiting, training and continuing professional development of the mortgage loan officers.
  • Manages low performers out and promotes high performers that exceed volume targets, customer satisfaction and other company objectives.

Qualifications

  • A track record of success leading a branch office or sales team closing $5M+ in monthly volume.
  • Have a thorough knowledge of current regulations surrounding consumer lending.
  • Must have a current NMLS license. Clean background and ability to get licensed in multiple additional states through the NMLS.
  • Proven leadership and motivational ability.
  • Exceptional sales and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of Ellie Mae's Encompass is preferred.
  • Must be able to meet applicable financial responsibility, character, general financial fitness and criminal background standards.
