Mid-Market Sales Manager
The Opportunity:
Datagrail, the standard in privacy, is growing and looking for a passionate sales leader able to lead a dynamic Mid-Market sales team and help DataGrail surpass our growth goals.
Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, you will be joining a small but growing sales team leading the charge as we scale on our journey to enable organizations to build trust by delivering on their commitments.
In this impactful role, you will hire, help develop and lead a high-performing team of Mid-Market Account Executives to meet and exceed sales goals as well their career and development goals.
The Skill Set:
- Manage all aspects of a team of 6-8 Mid-Market Account Executives in a start-up SaaS environment
- Exceed team quarterly new business sales goals
- Forecast quarterly results accurately
- Hire, Coach and develop a growth minded team through performance management, employee development, and enablement
- Foster a positive culture of collaboration, openness and trust within the team of direct reports and sales department
- Partner, coach and lead AEs on key sales opportunities
- Leverage data in every part of the coaching and decision making process
- Work collaboratively with partner departments (Marketing, SDR, Product and CS) to ensure we continue to develop a best-in-class GTM approach
Within 60 Days You'll:
- Already be a trusted leader of a small team of AEs - building relationships, beginning to coach, working on key deals
- Feel comfortable explaining the data privacy space to anyone, anywhere, anytime
- Understand how any company’s privacy program works and how DataGrail can fit in
- Start to expand your team
Within 180 Days You'll:
- Have achieved six-month revenue goals
- Scaled team of direct reports to 8 AEs
- Be a key part of the decision making process at all levels within the sales department - informing how we continue to win in the future
Within 365 Days You'll:
- Have achieved annual revenue goals
- Have developed AEs to a point where they are ready to take the next steps in their careers (Enterprise sales or leadership)
