Reports To: Mid-Market Manager

Location: Remote

Compensation: Compensation: On target earnings - including commission and base - $55,000

What You’ll Do:  

Huntress is building a dedicated team to support our growth goals in the mid-market space. We seek a Business Development Representative who can engage warm leads, hold consultative conversations about our products and offerings, answer questions, and convert leads into trials and customers within an assigned geographical territory.  You'll need to rely on your strong communication style, both over the phone and email, to help potential customers understand the value of Huntress's products.  

You will work closely with your SDR (sales development representative) on initial prospecting and turning leads into scheduled sales appointments, primarily in cooperation with a channel partner. This role requires you to hit milestone metrics and is critical to the continued success of Huntress.

Huntress approaches sales as an opportunity to educate our partners and we have a value based, solution-oriented sales process. We do not push end of quarter deals or haggle for every dollar, we believe that if our product is right for the prospect, they will buy it. 

We're looking for individuals who embrace our sales approach, who are value-based sellers, coachable, curious, intelligent, resilient, team oriented, and have customer centric empathy.


  • Establish rapport and trust via phone and/or email to learn about the potential prospect and their business while using qualifying questions to determine fit
  • Using a best-practices approach, stimulate interest in Huntress while focusing on the value Huntress can provide
  • Answer all questions with honesty, professionalism, and empathy
  • Schedule sales appointments with the appropriate Account Executive
  • Constantly improve cold calling skills, messaging tactics, and pipeline management skills, based on best practices
  • Maintain detailed and accurate customer records in Huntress’ CRM
