RESPONSIBILITIES

BASES is expanding its footprint into industry verticals like Consumer Durables, Fine Fragrance, Restaurants, Telecom, and many more. We are looking for an individual who will bring research selling experience and knowledge of any of the above-mentioned industries and be able to aggressively develop business in this space. When you join the NielsenIQ BASES team, you’re signing up for an experience that requires agility, flexibility, curiosity, and passion.

As a Market Research Commercial you will: 

  • Manage client relationships and develops account plans for increased client engagement
  • Drive business results through consultative and insight selling
  • Establish self as partner focused on full innovation system from early stages to activation
  • Design and estimates costs of projects
  • Contribute to the revenue management process for client group, including development and review of pipeline 
  • Develop and maintain account plans, including pipeline goals using technology and tools such as CRM and others
  • Partner with Client Service teams to provide relevant client/project background, history and other NielsenIQ analytics
  • Assist in handling sensitive client discussions with Client Service
  • Manage client feedback and seeks quick resolution to overcome challenges partnering with Client Service
  • Help yield best practices, client tools, participates to corporate initiatives and taskforces

REQUIREMENTS

  • Is fluent in English and ideally in another EU language (German and/or Spanish are a plus)
  • Builds deep client relationships and viewed as a trusted partner 
  • Is sales driven and leverages Insight selling techniques
  • Meets revenue targets, and grows relationships with clients
  • Has previous experience with market research
  • Shows strong analytical and communication skills
  • Understands New Product Development and Innovation products and services, forecasting theory and broader solutions that impact innovation
  • Manages client expectations through the life-cycle of a project, ensuring client satisfaction by providing feedback, insights and updates in a timely manner
  • Drives successful Innovation outcomes for clients
