Come join our Sales teamOur Sales team is committed to expanding Karat’s purpose by building authentic, long-term partnerships with software engineering and recruiting leaders at enterprise-level organizations.
What you will doAs a Market Development Representative at Karat, you will conduct external research and prospect qualified sales opportunities to ensure a consistent flow of qualified opportunities for our Business Development team.
Karat’s HQ is based in Seattle, Washington, but we are open to remote candidates for this role (within the U.S.). Immigration sponsorship is not available for this position.
- Utilize internal lists, sales tools and/or other resources to identify key influencers and decision-makers within senior management and executive teams.
- Conduct external research on target lists, prospects, and existing accounts.
- Generate lists of identified prospects to set Karat’s Business Development Representatives (BDRs) up for effective outreach.
- Collaborate and work with different members of the Sales team to build a scalable, repeatable top-of-funnel process.
- 1+ year of experience in a high-engagement client/customer-facing role
- Analytical mindset and hunter mentality
- Strong, clear communication skills (verbal and written)
- Experience with competing priorities in a complex, fast paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to work independently
- Comfortable using a variety of technology systems (Google Suite, Slack, Salesforce, etc. nice-to-have)
