Digital Intelligence is an agile startup within NielsenIQ that provides high end solutions using social media and consumer data. We are a global unit, and our customers are the largest consumer companies in the world.The centre of excellence is a team of social media experts, insights consultants, data scientists and technologists.
This role will be part of the sales and client development team – This will play a key role in announcing and establishing NielsenIQ’s presence in the Digital Intelligence solutions space across the globe. This team will ensure a steady sales pipeline and help the Digital Intelligence unit achieve its revenue targets.
We are looking for passionate leaders, who can work with agility, flexibility and creative ways of thinking, to disrupt a fragmented social media intelligence market.
Responsibilities
Have a thorough understanding of where and how the need for digital intelligence originates in the client organisation, where does it fit in within the market research/ insights industry and lastly, how does the NielsenIQ offering meet that need
Have a strong rigour of collecting market intelligence about prospective clients - services and products used, key stakeholders within, presence of competition and so on.
Work closely with commercial teams to help close a sale - develop proposals, sales decks, build client specific demos on SML tools, make client pitch presentations, and other aspects of closing the client agreement including contracts and invoices.
Learn and develop comfort in handling specific SML tools
Build proposals with storytelling through data
Monitor and report market intelligence and sales progress
Have the ability to engage across levels at the Client side
Work with local NielsenIQ commercial teams – Domain training, Joint prospecting, Scoping and selling
Track closely publications/ blogs/ articles on the digital Intelligence/ Social listening industry – regular feedback and education of internal teams on latest developments, trends, competitor activities including large wins and new product launches.
About you
You’re a digital intelligence & social media enthusiast who has interacted with client organisations and demonstrated proposal and sales support expertise.
You display a strong executive presence with excellent verbal and written communication skills.You have a team player mentality with the ability to work independently as well.
Qualifications :-
6-8 years of client servicing, consumer insights and or sales / business development experience (specific to selling social media tools/solutions)
Excellent consultative proposal writing skills
Familiarity with social media tools :-
Google Analytics, FB insights, Instagram Analytics, Twitter Analytics
Social Media platforms: e.g. Crimson Hexagon, Meltwater, Talkwalker, Sprinklr, Synthesio, Brandwatch, Netbase, Sysomos
Awareness of search and website analytics
Awareness of reviews /ecomm analytics
Exposure to Clients that have measured their social media performance/generated insights from social media data
