Manager, Strategic Accounts
This is a remote position that can be located in any major city in close proximity to a major airport.
The Strategic Accounts Manager is responsible for the contract management of assigned accounts, including Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs), Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs) Federal Government (VAs & DoDs) and key hospital accounts for orthobiologics, spine and 7D. This position will be responsible to coordinate contracting submissions with the Strategic Accounts Director and the Field Management team. This role will include contract analysis, submission, negotiation, implementation and monitoring.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following are the essential functions of this position. This position may be responsible for performing additional duties and tasks as needed and assigned.
- Assist in achieving annual revenue quota goals while maximizing margin by securing assign GPO/IDN & hospital contracts
- Develop account sales implementation plans in concert with Field Management & Distributors.
- Analyze RFP submission data to maximize margins while still securing the contract
- Work with AVPs, Directors, RBMs, OB Specialists, MDMs and internal company personnel to plan, target and close national, regional and local contract opportunities.
- Manage on an ongoing basis the relationships at our key strategic partners to include currently contracted GPOs, IDNS, VA/DOD accounts and other accounts as needed.
- Conduct Business Review Meetings at our key contracted accounts to further the Company's relationship, identify opportunities to grow sales and resolve disputes.
- Provide input to sales, sales operations, and marketing functions within SeaSpine that improve process, procedures and overall channel development.
- Keep the Sales and marketing teams informed of key industry trends, product acceptance and other information that will enhance SeaSpine's position in the market.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
The requirements listed below are representative of the education, knowledge, skill and/or ability required for this position.
Education/Certifications:
- Bachelor's Degree required
Experience, Skills, Knowledge and/or Abilities:
- Three years of medical device experience preferred
- Three years of National Accounts experience
- Computer skills, communication capability, interpersonal skill sets, ability to multi-task in fast paced environment
