Your Career

As a Palo Alto Networks Manager, Solutions Architecture- Cortex, you will be managing a team of experts for the broader Cortex portfolio within our offerings.

Cortex Solutions Architects group is the interface between business and technology. Working closely both internally - with product and engineering to share feedback from the field, and externally - with our prospects and customers to understand their business needs and to design technical solutions that take the best advantage of the Cortex platform.

Your Impact

  • Serve as a mentor to support your team on their day to day challenges and set prioritize 

  • Hire, develop, and retain the best technical selling team for North America Cortex Speedboat’s unique needs.

  • Understand the critical key success factors of the business and set team goals for success. 

  • Providing the guidance and tools your team will need to continue to perform and excel within their positions. 

  • Work closely with the Field SE Managers and SE teams to understand the business opportunities and prioritize the SAs

  • Act as an escalation point for pre-sales and post-sales technical issues that arise in the territory and ensure that the proper resources are engaged for resolution

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including Product Management, Cortex SE leadership, Cortex Sales leadership,, Customer Success to overachieve quota and customer expectations.

  • Consistently remove roadblocks to long term success through problem-solving and the building of formal and informal networks.

Qualifications

Your Experience

  • Managed and led a large distributed team.

  • Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and manage a team of technical professionals.

  • Highly commercial in orientation, with a strong focus on the customer and a clear commitment to generating topline growth.

  • Industry knowledge of security product market trends.

  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills.

  • Highly desirable if you have experience with security incident response or SOC operational processes – manual and automated.

  • Highly desirable if you have a good working knowledge of endpoint prevention, SOAR, SIEM, vulnerability management tools, firewalls, and other security technologies both from a technology and a business driver standpoint.
