The Manager, Sales Operations will be responsible for contributing to the success of the Grail Commercial team by employing analytics, technology and consultation. You will develop systems and analytics processes to ensure an efficient and effective experience for the Sales team. Ideal candidate will have very strong quantitative skills and be able to address complex topics with minimal support.
Preferred work location is Menlo Park, CA, but can be remote within the US.
You Will:
- Provide data analysis and strategic problem solving to achieve commercial objectives.
- Lead development of a reporting and business intelligence program for various commercial team members, in collaboration with Sales Leadership.
- Lead and maintain the sales alignment process, including optimal territory locations and boundaries.
- Lead and refine the HCP targeting methodology.
- Assist in Incentive Compensation design, goal setting methodology, and administering a best in class incentive program for the sales team.
- Help inform sales force size and structure recommendations for multiple products.
- Collaborate with IT and other cross functional teams to develop and maintain the CRM platform, Commercial database and master data management solution.
- Address questions from the sales team and sales management regarding performance, analytics, incentives, reports or other topics.
Your Background Should Include:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Successful track record and proficiency in Commercial or Sales Operations, Management Consulting, Analytics, or related field.
- 8+ years of analytics, sales / commercial / revenue operations or management consulting experience required.
- 3+ years of life science industry experience preferred.
- High level of proficiency in Excel, SQL or similar analytics / data manipulation tools required.
- Experience working with HCP and / or patient-level data for enabling
- Commercial operations with Alignment, Targeting, CRM, Reporting, Sales Compensation, Analytics - required.
- Experience with Salesforce CRM and/or reporting tools (Tableau, Domo) preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross functionally with a variety of team members (executive leadership, sales managers, sales consultants, IT, finance, product management) and present results to broader partner audiences.
- Maintains an open, flexible, and positive can-do problem solving attitude.
