Role Summary: 

Hello Bello is looking for a Manager, Sales & Operations Planning who will be responsible for managing the S&OP process steps for the company. This role will focus on balancing demand and supply to maximize customer order fulfilment, improve service and optimize costs. You will work with other functions such as Sales, Marketing, Operations, Sourcing, Product Development and Finance, to reconcile top-down financial plans and sales plans with the bottom-up operational plans.

Responsibility:

  • Drive the Sales & Operations Planning process from end to end and to higher levels of maturity
  • Product lifecycle: ensure portfolio changes are communicated and included into the demand plan
  • Demand review: work with sales and finance to ensure statistical forecast is built and multiple market intel signals are collected to generate a consensus forecast that will be analyzed and compared to prior cycles and target plans
  • Supply review: ensure supply constraints are clearly spelled-out with options to make trade-offs
  • Monthly meetings: Prepare and present monthly reporting of key performance indicators in a user friendly format for Sales & Marketing leadership team
  • S&OP executive review: reconcile supply to demand, align with financial plans and present various scenario
  • Frame perspective for decision makers in the organization
  • Communicate decisions made and ensure follow-up
  • Assists the VP Supply Chain with strategy development and execution as well as with supply chain optimization
  • Develop inventory strategies and monitor performance to ensure objectives are met; report on excess inventory
  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to prepare and present sales operations data for strategic project management initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business Management, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain, specifically in planning roles; fast scaling company experience strongly preferred
  • Solid experience with statistical forecasting, demand and consensus planning, constrained capacity planning, supply planning and detailed production planning
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Successful relationship and stakeholder management, with the ability to communicate and influence effectively across all levels of the business
  • Deep understanding of supply chain business processes and challenges
  • Ideal candidate has experience working in CPG retail environment (Walmart and/or large grocery retailers)
  • Good understanding of sales and finance/costing processes that support the supply chain
  • High analytical and data-driven
