Optum Infusion Services is seeking a Manager, Sales & Growth Analytics with extensive experience in descriptive and diagnostic analytics. This role will collaborate with sales and finance leadership to develop and implement data-driven strategies that increase sales and drive revenue growth.
You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales forecasting models to help predict future sales trends and inform business decisions
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports that provide meaningful insights and recommendations for Sales and Growth teams
  • Lead a team of developers and ensure that projects are delivered on time and to the required quality
  • Mentor and coach team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge they need to be successful
  • Take ownership of the technical direction of projects, working closely with product managers and stakeholders to define technical requirements
  • Act as a technical authority, providing guidance and direction on complex coding and design issues
  • Write high-quality, maintainable code that adheres to established coding standards and best practices
  • Work closely with other technical leads, architects, and developers to ensure that technical solutions are aligned with the overall strategy and architecture of the organization
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement new data solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and bring new ideas and approaches to the team
  • Ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget by managing scope, risks, and dependencies effectively

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in engineering or reporting development, with 1+ years of experience in a lead or technical lead role
  • 3+ years of advanced SQL experience
  • Extensive experience with development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Kanban
  • Experience leading, motivating & mentoring a team of developers
  • Robust analytical skills with experience in data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or similar
  • Knowledge of architecture, design patterns, and best practices for descriptive analytics
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to think critically and creatively to solve complex technical problems


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience in R or Python
  • Experience with Jira or Rally
  • Experience in Predictive analytics
