Manager, New Business Sales

We’re looking for a Sales Manager to join Team Snapchat! As a New Business Sales Manager for the Emerging Advertiser Sales Team, you will manage a team of sales people responsible for identifying, prospecting, activating and managing new advertisers. You will need natural leadership skills and the ability to guide, mentor and challenge your direct reports. You will be developing an entry-level sales team and should have a deep passion for developing others.
You should also be comfortable working with data to manage your team and influence the organization, possess strong salesperson skills for frequent client engagement with your sales team, and have the strategic ability to drive success across numerous and at times disparate categories of advertisers. You will also be expected to drive change and improvement on behalf of Snap and its customers.
What you'll do:
Manage a of 6 to 8 entry-level salespeople
Hold your team to certain revenue quotas and KPI’s
Build and manage relationships with key clients and agency partners
Define, execute, and deliver KPI-driven measurement strategies
Assist sales leadership with determining individual quotas and account lists and delivering to the individual contributors on your team
Partner with Product, Marketing, and other cross functional partners to ideate, test, and launch new solutions at scale
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Strong leadership and communication skills
Deep understanding of how to communicate with different personality types
Experience working effectively with cross-functional teams and all levels of management (internally and externally)
Experience working with data
Comfort leading and driving change in a dynamic and rapidly evolving environment
Proven track record of delivering on quota and obtaining positive reviews
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience
5+ years experience in digital media space
2+ years of leadership and mentorship experience
Preferred Qualifications:
8+ years experience in digital media space
2+ years digital advertising sales management
