Elastic is searching for an Inside Sales Manager located in Austin, TX to lead and expand business, together with driving strategy. As we continue on our exciting journey as a high growth software organisation, we have launched an inside sales function to help us optimise our relationships within the Small - Medium sized business space (SMB). Our Inside Sales Managers are focussed on growing revenue through new customer acquisition and existing customer expansion, meeting and exceeding all sales targets and performance metrics within our SMB Space.  Are you an accomplished Inside Sales Leader, having managed successful sales people in a dynamic market? The Manager, Inside Sales role will be based out of our Elastic workspace located in Austin, TX.


What You Will Be Doing:

  • Managing and Scaling a high velocity inside sales function
  • Developing comprehensive knowledge of our technology platform, product messaging, partner ecosystem, and competitor landscape
  • Ensuring the attainment of assigned sales quotas by ‘leading from the front’ and driving Elastic’s sales methodology
  • Actively fostering an environment of teamwork, transparency, creativity, and continuous improvement
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with representatives of the Open Source community and partner ecosystems
  • Travel regularly to assist in deal creation and closure, as well as meet any managerial needs and provide support to your team as required.
  • Partnering across Elastic’s leadership community to ensure a seamless customer experience

What You Bring With You:

  • Consistent track record of leading teams to exceed quotas and objectives within a fast paced and technical client acquisition driven business 
  • Experience in scaling a high velocity inside sales function
  • Ability to operate in an entrepreneurial environment

Bonus Points:

  • Experience working within an Open Source model

The typical starting Total Cash Compensation range for transfers in the US in this role is between $183,200-$252,000, which consists of a Base Salary or a Base Salary plus a Target Commission, depending on the specific role. The Base Salary offered may vary depending on factors including skills and experience. 

Additionally, this role is still eligible to participate in Elastic’s equity plan as well as a range of health & wellbeing, retirement savings, and other benefits within a holistic total rewards offering. For compensation ranges outside of the US, reach out to [email protected]
