As a Manager on the Account Management team, you will grow our business by applying a human-centered approach to leading a team of Account Managers in a hyper growth environment. Account Managers play an integral role in our business, building strong working relationships with each and every client and driving annual renewals and upsells. 

You’re responsible for crafting an outstanding experience with responsibility for the following duties: 

  • Lead a team of Account Managers responsible for orchestrating customer retention and growth
  • Develop standard methodologies and process strategies to help the Account Management team scale 
  • Accurately forecast expansion revenue and mentor team to quota achievement
  • Build a scalable process for Account Managers to identify customer needs and implement playbooks that drive measurable business outcomes
  • Drive adoption programs to ensure client is able to fully use MURAL to meet their transformation needs and hitting success breakthroughs
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Customer Success, Marketing, Product, Sales) to prioritize a cohesive and innovative customer experience 
  • Elicit client feedback to act as internal advocate for our customers with MURAL’s product teams
  • Extraordinary people leadership skills, sales and account management competence, and organized project management

As a MURAL Account Management Manager you empower and encourage innovation across a team of Account Managers. You will develop systems and engagement point playbooks to turn our current customer base into MURAL enthusiasts by showing how easy and fun it is to collaborate in MURAL. You will successfully lead and achieve retention, renewal and up-sell KPIs as a natural extension of the valuable business outcomes orchestrated with and communicated to our customers. 

We are passionate about crafting an extraordinary customer experience and looking for candidates who share our fiercely customer-centric mentality. 

Our desired candidate will have:

  • 1+ year experience leading teams of Customer Success Managers and/or Account Managers.
  • 5+ years in an Account Management or Customer Success function including ownership of renewal and up-sell meaningful metrics
  • Have a nose for revenue and enjoy the rush of accomplishment when customers find value in MURAL enough to sign on for another year of transformation
  • An intrinsic love of learning and demonstrating standard methodologies of new technology 
  • Gain fulfillment from helping others by means of public speaking and training 
  • A highly adaptable, outgoing, upbeat representative of MURAL 
  • Track record of making your team successful and facilitating their individual skill development 
  • Systems problem solver who loves to continuously improve the teams SOPs and operational efficiency
  • Ability to lead and interpret customer behavior/data to build valuable business outcomes 
  • A passion to help customers succeed and empathize with them
  • An undying concern about new, innovative ways to tackle problems
  • A willingness to work independently in the office or from remote locations
