Major Accounts Specialist - Job Description
A Major Accounts Specialist is responsible for providing primary support to Major Accounts Managers. The Major Accounts Specialist will function in the role of administrative support, serving as a back-up to a Major Accounts Mgr. when necessary.
Job Responsibilities:
Communication & Customer Service
- Communicates professionally and effectively with client group contacts and Aureus Medical staffing team members in all account management activities
- As called upon - serves as the liaison between Major Accounts client representatives and Aureus Medical
- Suggest improvements to quality and customer service practices
- Touch point calls with Clients scheduled on a regular basis
Client Specifications / Auditing
- Knowledge of the client specifications for assigned Major Accounts. Suggest clarifications to specifications to the Major Accounts team as needed for contract and requirement changes, or to provide additional instructions to facilitate the placement process.
- Monitor the onboarding activity of all new assignments for assigned Major Accounts and work with Account Managers & Team Assistants to ensure all requirements are met prior to assignment start dates
- Conduct regular audits of assigned employees to ensure expiring items are updated in advance of expiration and documentation is complete and imported into REMI
- Assist with the management of remote or on-site Major Accounts client audits, preparing written responses with regard to audit findings
Guidance/ Training
- Assist the Major Accounts team in training Account Managers & Team Assistants on major account requirements, specifications, and how to improve candidate quality and compliance
- Quarterly internal training review and updates for major accounts branch

Systems & Tools
- Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing computer systems/applications (i.e., MS Office, Remi, Notes, Internet) to satisfactorily perform the job functions and duties associated with the position
Job Qualifications:
- Minimum one year of successful experience with Aureus Medical or another firm with responsibilities associated with healthcare, quality assurance, compliance, or group purchasing
- Degree in Business Administration, a healthcare field, or equivalent education/experience background desired
The ability to:
- Utilize a touch-tone telephone, view a PC screen, type at least 35 words per minute, and demonstrate proficiency in basic Windows operations
- Speak and write professionally and follow oral or written instructions
- Establish a working relationship with employees, clients, and candidates
- Organize workload, multi-task, and work with a sense of urgency and efficiency
- Use MS Office software applications and the Internet proficiently
