Do you want to play a sales role in the future of global Commerce?

We are seeking a hardworking Key Account Manager who will be primarily responsible for developing and managing relationships with our meaningful customers while driving Essentials sales growth. You will be the primary contact for the operational decision makers within our customers, advising the heads of Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Real Estate. Working hand in hand with the Customer Lead Solutions team (CLS), you will lead real estate growth in customer accounts, deliver operational efficiency to those same customers across millions of square feet of industrial real estate as we build the single source marketplace to help our customers move, protect, store, and control the flow of materials and products throughout manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution.

What is Customer Led Solutions & Prologis Essentials?

The Prologis Customer Led Solutions (CLS) division develops, leads, and executes relationships with multi-market customers across the globe. The CLS group is responsible for handling our most significant global account relationships.

Prologis Essentials is crafting the most convenient way for our customers to get the products, services, and support they need to get operational fast. We are building a best-in-class network of high-quality vendor partners beyond the traditional four walls of real estate. With a network that began with solar, LED lighting, material handling and everyday services, our portfolio continues to evolve with industrial products, workforce solutions, and robotics.

What’s needed in order to do that:

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with key operational partners within our key customers to satisfy operational needs.
  • Familiarize our largest customers with the full range of Essentials products and services and promote the benefits resulting from their use.
  • Sales execution coordination while running an excellent customer experience throughout the entire sales opportunity life cycle.
  • Nurture positive relationships with internal Prologis teams and service as the primary point of contact for our preferred vendor partners from initial discovery through service delivery.
  • Understands delivering a consistent Essentials opportunity and execution experience for global accounts across geographies is important.
  • Provide customer feedback and observations to the entire CLS group as we grow and scale the Essentials business.
  • Sophisticated Emotional Intelligence, ability to listen and tact – the art of handling customer interest and business growth.
  • Skilled at working in a cross-functional, matrixed, results-oriented, and changing and evolving environment at all levels of the organization.

Tell us if you’re ready.

  • 10+ years of B2B sales, business development, or account management experience in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of industrial warehouse operations, material handling, automation and robotics experience required.
  • Previous management and leadership of Global Accounts of a Global Account team.
  • A general understanding of Industrial Real Estate.
  • Validated consultative sales experience, running a sales cycle from end to end.
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM critical to tracking customer communication and opportunities.
  • Hardworking, outgoing personality, strong written and verbal communication.
  • Collaborative nature – desire to help others succeed.

As a condition to the commencement of your employment, Prologis requires proof of full vaccination against COVID-19.
