YPrime is looking to add a Business Development/Outside Sales professional to our growing Commercial team in the role of Director or Vice President, Strategic Solutions. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the full cycle sales process for YPrime eClinical software and services. We are open to candidates located anywhere in the US for this position.

At YPrime, we help our clients in the pharma and biotech industries to collect data from patients using mobile devices, assign patients to study treatment groups and dispense clinical trial drugs and supplies using web apps. We’re supporting life-altering research, one project at a time.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience in the eClinical technology industry – specifically with either eCOA or IRT (either in business development, Project Management, or operations)

  • Prior Business Development/Outside Sales experience (with a quota)
  • A strong network within the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry

Here are some more details about the job:

  • You’ll develop a pipeline of new business coming into the company
  • You’ll closely collaborate with the Chief Commercial Officer and other departments in order to achieve quota
  • You’ll work to retain and grow existing accounts by presenting new solutions and services to clients
  • You’ll prospect new clients by networking, cold calling, and other means to generate sales
  • You’ll lead the coordination of all activities related to your sales process
  • You’ll accurately manage and forecast your pipeline
  • You’ll build strong relationships with internal YPrime colleagues
  • You’ll also build strong relationships with client stakeholders, seeking to form broad and meaningful relationships with YPrime advocates
  • You’ll participate in industry events, like conferences, client meetings, etc.
  • You’ll coordinate Request for Information responses and draft proposals
  • You’ll lead sales calls, demos and bid defenses
