POSITION SUMMARY: The Outbound Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for the outbound prospecting of new clients. SDRs drive market share and qualify leads that help build pipeline for the sales organization. This is a great opportunity for a college graduate or entry level sales representative looking to further his/her career in the tech industry.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

● Outbound prospecting and appointment setting within select companies via cold calling, email and social media.

● Work closely with Sales Management and individual Sales Reps to develop targeted lists, call strategies, and messaging to drive appointment setting for new business

● Research accounts, identify key players, generate interest and develop accounts to stimulate opportunity

● Demonstrate the value of our offering through phone calls, email, LinkedIn and other social mediums

● Disseminate opportunities to appropriate AE, educating rep as necessary about the opportunity

● Successfully manage and overcome prospect objections

● Update sales development activities and prospect interaction in salesforce.com to ensure efficient lead management and closed loop feedback

● Achieve or exceed monthly quotas of sales qualified leads/AE meetings, acceptance of meetings and Opportunities generated

● All other duties assigned

Qualifications

● Proven experience as a SDR, Sales Account Executive or similar role

● Experience in technology or SaaS fields is strongly desired

● Experience using Outreach would be a strong plus

● Experience with a CRM, specifically Salesforce

● Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques

● Strong and professional communication skills -- written, verbal, presentation

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Requires extensive sitting with periodic standing and walking. No exposure to hazardous or significantly unpleasant conditions anticipated. Typically requires routine use of personal computer and general office equipment. Needs adequate visual acuity, ability to grasp and handle objects, ability to communicate effectively through reading, writing, and speaking in person or on the telephone. Ability to operate a motor vehicle
