The Red Hat Sales team is looking for an Inside Sales Account Intern to join us in summer 2021 in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will have endless opportunities to learn, grow, and be challenged. You will do more than just sell software. You'll help us share the story of how Red Hat creates innovative open source software by collaborating with a global community of customers, partners, and contributors. As an Inside Sales Account Intern, you'll be encouraged to contribute your ideas, help solve complex problems, and make a difference on your very first day. What you will do

• Provide sales support to field sales professionals
• Research strategic and enterprise accounts and create detailed account plans
• Help improve attendance to marketing events
• Prospect and follow up on leads
• Sell Red Hat's comprehensive enterprise solutions

What you will bring

• Ability to work full-time hours May-August
• Currently enrolled in an accredited degree program; if you have graduated, be no more than 6 months past your graduation date at the start of the internship
• Highly motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving, technical environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Interest in software and technology
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Good interpersonal skills with a focus on collaboration
