The Team
Canva for Enterprise is built for any team or organization that has a need to design at scale. We have seen success across different types of companies, including those in the Fortune 500, franchises, and startups. Teams within organizations that enjoy Canva for Enterprise come from diverse departments such as Marketing, Sales, and HR.
The core focus of our team is to showcase the power of Canva within Enterprise customers. Business owners are looking to move away from outdated systems and time-consuming design processes, and we aim to serve by empowering them with the ability to build better products and stories.
Role Mission
The Inbound Sales Development Representative role at Canva is an entry-level position within our sales organization that will give you the knowledge, skills, and foundation for a long, successful career in technology. In this role, you will be responsible for managing inbound inquiries on Canva for Enterprise and will support small businesses in purchasing Canva for their organization's needs.
What you'll do:
- Manage all inbound sales leads via web forms (Salesforce) and live chat (Drift) in an efficient manner
- Act as an ambassador and advocate for Canva, sharing your passion and knowledge with customers and prospects
- Educate and address questions from current users and prospective users via phone, email, chat and video as appropriate
- Work in collaboration with your peers, Leadership, our Sales team, and our Support teams
- Facilitate the purchase of Canva subscriptions with organizations
- Perform light qualification on inbound leads from organizations with 100+ employees
- Route qualified inbound leads to our Territory Account Executives as appropriate
- Route support requests to our Customer Happiness Team (aka Support) via live chat (Drift) and support ticket system (Jira)
What we're looking for:
- 3+ months customer service or technical support, lead generation, or inside sales experience
- Passionate about our mission, our products, and our customers
- Adaptable; things can and do change fast around here so we need someone who’s ready for the ride
- Genuinely curious and compassionate with excellent listening skills
- Able to stay calm under pressure
- Highly organized and capable of managing a high volume workload
- Service and solution-oriented; your job is to guide users and prospects down the path that’s right for them
- A strong communicator; internally, externally, online and offline
- Persistent, resilient, and thorough
Nice to have:
- Experience with live chat technology (i.e. Drift, Intercom, etc.)
- Experience with G Suite (Gmail, Google Calendar, etc.)
- Experience with Salesforce.com
- Undergraduate degree
