Overview

Acts as a Paychex service advisor for clients by providing best in class product and service support to HR Services clients. Responds to client inquiries and concerns and assists the client to ensure timely resolution of concerns. Establishes and maintains positive image with clients and internal partners.

Responsibilities

  • Establishes and maintains a positive, professional relationship with clients. Fosters a cohesive relationship between Sales and Service to maintain a unified approach to client service.
  • Participates in designated client calling and other retention-oriented programs to ensure ongoing client satisfaction and high client retention.
  • Maintains knowledge and keeps abreast of changes in Flex, Human Resources Online, and Time and Attendance systems, Report Writer, General Ledger, and software, trends in external applications (e.g. Excel, SharePoint, Office 365), and changes in wage and tax law to provide informed guidance to our clients.
  • Takes inbound and makes outbound calls to support clients. Responds to client phone calls within service level agreement to resolve issues.
  • Logs and documents client conversations and issues completely and accurately.
  • Supports custom interfaces between Paychex platforms and third-party software to meet clients' needs.
  • Corresponds with federal, state, and local tax agencies on behalf of clients to resolve problems.
  • Assists with custom reports to meet clients' needs.


Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree - Preferred
  • 2 years of experience in Related field, including demonstrated account manager skills.
  • Demonstrates written communication skills.
  • Proficient in English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrates customer service skills.
  • Strong verbal communication and listening skills.
  • Promotes information sharing.
  • Ability to build strong customer relationships.
  • Excellent collaboration and team building skills.
  • Ability to represent the company with external constituents.
