We’re looking for an experienced business leader who is passionate about the opportunity to manage and scale our Sales Operations function as we grow Lyft Business.  The Head of Sales Operations will lead sales planning, strategic analysis, and operational projects to increase revenue, sales productivity, and efficiency. This role will also develop and implement training, enablement programs, and compensation plans.  The ideal candidate is detailed focused,  operations savvy and analytical problem solver, with a proven track record of working cross-functionally to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

 Responsibilities:

  • Be the go-to thought partner for Sales, Account Management, and Marketing leaders on key strategic, organizational and operational projects designed to increase revenue, sales productivity and operational efficiency.
  • Identify key market/business trends and assist sale leaders in developing sale plans
  • Build and refine forecasting and planning processes to ensure achievement of revenue and key operating metrics
  • Partner with sales leaders to design territories, allocate quotas, set metrics, and deliver productivity targets
  • Develop compelling sales compensation and incentive programs in partnership with leadership and finance
  • Refine lead scoring, qualification, and routing processes across the organization
  • Drive the monthly and quarterly operating cadence to achieve key operational milestones
  • Build automation, optimize processes, and ensure seamless integration and use of systems, tools, and technology across the team
  • Manage and continue to grow a high-performing group of sales operations professionals
  • Create operational dashboards and benchmarks to measure sales team effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities
  • Collaborate with IT teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications, focusing on CRM system improvements and enhancements.
  • Maintain and update sales training materials using best practices across the sales team

 Experience & Skills:

  • 10+ years’ experience in Sales Operations, Business Operations, or similar roles
  • Proven success as a sales operations leader; track record in driving changes and eliminating hurdles by working cross-functionally
  • Able to operate successfully in a lean, fast-paced organization, and to create a vision and organization that can scale quickly
  • Experience working in strategy, organizational design, go-to-market definition and process optimization 
  • Deep knowledge of sales and marketing systems/tools, with experience upgrading and deploying tools and processes (experience with Salesforce, Tableau, and other core CRM/BI tools is a plus)
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills; proven ability to work effectively with individual contributors, management and executive leadership
  • Operationally focused, process oriented and data driven with a strong sense of urgency
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field, MBA preferred
