Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 11 years of experience working in strategic sales, business development, and/or partnerships
- Experience working with external stakeholders, and structuring and discussing agreements
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience using analytical insight and frameworks to solve problems and communicate solutions with solid strategy and business acumen
- Ability to grasp complex technical and product concepts, with a desire to drive the success
- Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment where entrepreneurial mindset, bias towards action, and relationship building drives your success
- Effective communication skills and strategic agility to formulate and present key issues to executive leadership

Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.

As the Head of Local Services Partnerships, you will run a team that partners with ecosystem players to launch new products, scale inventory, and enable platform features that reliably connect consumers with service providers like plumbers, electricians, real estate agents, while driving value back to the ecosystem.

We collaborate across Google, ensuring a coordinated approach when engaging with our most complex and strategic partners.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coach a high-performing Business Development and Partner Management team to scale the partner program through new agreements and partner activation
- Collaborate with a broad cross-functional team to launch and scale new products, influence product innovation, and develop responses to ecosystem challenges and opportunities
- Understand the full scope of partner and product needs to influence Google's product strategy and go-to-market approach
- Drive presentations and recommendations to leadership around key business performance indicators and partnerships strategy
- Partner with global colleagues to support successful international product expansions
