Head of Channel Sales
Grammarly is excited to offer a remote-first hybrid working model . Team members can work primarily remotely in the United States, Canada, Ukraine, Germany, Poland, and Portugal. Conditions permitting, teams will meet in person a few weeks every quarter at one of Grammarly's hubs, currently in San Francisco, Kyiv, New York, Vancouver, and Berlin, or in a shared workspace in Krakow.
Grammarly team members in this role must be based in the United States or Canada.
The opportunity
Grammarly empowers people to thrive and connect, whenever and wherever they communicate. Every day, 30 million people and 30,000 teams around the world use our AI-powered writing assistant. All of this begins with our team collaborating in a values-driven and learning-oriented environment.
To achieve our ambitious goals, we're looking for a Head of Channel Sales to join our team, as part of our investment in Grammarly Business and our broader B2B business. This leader will formalize and begin to scale our reseller and referral programs across geographies and segments. And, this leader will join Grammarly's B2B leadership team.
Your impact
As the Head of Channel Sales, you will have the opportunity to accelerate Grammarly's fast-growing B2B sales pipelines-and you will have a number of initial reseller relationships in place to build from. Based on those efforts and learnings, you will shape the longer-term strategy, define repeatable go-to-market models in core segments, and build the structure and processes of the Channel Partner organization in Sales, while starting to hire a team to drive it. It will be an exciting first twenty-four months.
- In your first thirty days, you will establish command over the product, understand existing reseller and referral partner relationships, and familiarize yourself with key sales methodologies and positioning.
- By month three, you will define a three-year channel strategy and growth goals and will identify the critical capabilities and milestones for near-term focus. You will also have engaged multiple existing thirdparty channels and potential new channels to start to build early relationships.
- By month six, you will be fully ramped up in your role: You will have penned agreements with new/existing partners that build toward your three-year strategy, have launched early "lighthouse" programs with a subset of resellers, and aligned with other leaders (e.g., Product, Marketing) on hiring and related needs for future periods.
- By the end of year one, you will lead the creation of a significant share of global pipeline, produce in predictable pipeline/forecasting, and bookings/deal commits. You will also have hired a small team to focus and drive growth through channel partners, and will have assisted in building out the related capabilities required in other functions.
- Within two years, you will be scaling a global and highly valuable part of the organization-working with a mature, fast-growing Sales team and go-to-market motions that you pioneered and defined.
