Google Workspace Renewal and Expansion Manager, Public Sector
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 10 years of relevant business experience in the technology industry, with SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS products and platforms.
- C-level sales or consulting experience in cloud based (SaaS) technologies.
- Experience managing and leading a global team, and managing an outsourced vendor model
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in reaching and exceeding business goals in the technology industry with SaaS products.
- Experience with marketing or business support in developing product, solution messaging, narratives, and value propositions.
- Ability to effectively operate with flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment
- Effective cross-functional leadership and collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated organizational and project management skills
- Effective communication and presentation skills, both written and spoken.

As a Retention (Renewal) and Expansion Manager, you will be responsible for the success and growth of our current Google Workspace customer base. You will be responsible for the adoption of our business-relevant and pure-cloud solutions. You will positively impact business metrics including customer retention, business growth attainment, and customer reference-ability through excellent customer relationship management, knowledge, teamwork, and programmatic engagement.
You will manage a global team focused on maintaining and growing our current Google Workspace customer base. You'll be a highly driven business professional who is prepared to support our customers, operate in a highly entrepreneurial environment, and be comfortable navigating ambiguity. You will be a leader for Google's innovation in the cloud space and you will leverage this knowledge of our offerings to become a trusted advisor to public sector and education customers.

Responsibilities
- Hire, coach, and drive a high performance team to deliver against assigned retention and growth goals while prioritizing an outstanding customer experience.
- Achieve and forecast quarterly goals, maintain high retention rates in the customer base, and discover growth opportunities.
- Contribute to territory strategy in generating and developing business growth opportunities leveraging the channel, and work to maximize business results and open opportunities with public sector customers.
- Explore and understand complex customer requirements on both a business and technical level.
- Lead an account management team focused on C-level engagements coupled with scale and growth opportunities.
