Axon is expanding into the federal market and is growing our team! We need a high energy, process focused federal fulfillment manager to work with internal teams at Axon and support a streamlined customer order experience. In this role you will coordinate processing of all opportunities and facilitate implementation of federal specific requirements into Axon processes. You will serve as the conduit between sales, program management and our internal teams to ensure efficient execution of orders, compliance to customer requirements and adherence with internal policies and procedures
What You’ll Do
Location: Scottsdale AZ
Reports to: Director, Federal Operations
Direct Reports: 0

  • Support Federal Sales and Program management teams in providing a seamless order experience to our customers.
  • Become an expert in Axon's products, pricing, and sales programs, and work with sales representatives to ensure sales quotes sent to customers are accurate and aligned with customer requirements and Axon process needs.
  • Track and prioritize quote creation and process accurate customer and distributor orders by capturing and entering all pertinent order details within order management systems.
  • Ensure complete processing of all federal opportunities
  • Review contracts with program management and ensure that pertinent information has been translated from contract/Purchase order into relevant systems for processing
  • Work with internal and external teams on all other order transactions, including training, returns and warranty orders.
  • Communicate effectively with and respond to/act on requests both from internal stakeholders and directly from customers/distributors.
  • Coordinate with federal fulfillment manager for transition of orders from SFDC to D365
  • Work with compliance team to produce/issue all necessary import/export documentation.
  • Act as first line control for contractual risk management, ensuring that contracts are reviewed and approved in line with company policy and that deviation are appropriately escalated/monitored.
  • Ensure that appropriate filing and documentation is maintained for all customer transactions.
  • Support the Sales and Post-sales teams with all back-office processes, including onboarding new customers/partners and driving Salesforce compliance.
  • Support other finance functions with enquiries relating to customer invoice collection.
  • Generate and maintain dashboards to track and report on relevant metrics
  • Support and assist your teammates.
  • Other tasks as might be required from time to time.


What You Bring

  • 3+ years of relevant order entry experience
  • Ability to learn on the go, be a self-starter
  • High attention to detail
  • Advanced MS Office skills
  • Customer-centric attitude
  • Ability to work both individually and collaboratively in a fast moving and often ambiguous environment.
  • Ability to frequently juggle multiple high-priority deadline-driven projects at once
  • Prior experience with a federal government contractor
  • Prior experience with Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics 365 a plus
  • Concern for high quality deliverables and deadlines

The Pay: The compensation for this role is made up of uncapped commissions and a starting base pay between USD 110,000 in the lowest geographic market and USD 190,000 in the highest geographic market. On average, the national commissions target for this role is 60,000 USD. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: experience, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and geographic market demands and often a combination of all these factors.
