This Executive Account Director role will help manage and grow revenue nationally, working closely with the Cision sales teams to ensure we are supporting our top clients across the entire Cision portfolio of solutions. This candidate will need to have a combination of firsthand experience planning and executing various PR and integrated communications strategies combined with the knack and track record for closing and growing business.
o Serve as a communications and strategy SME to entire Cision sales team helping identify and close revenue opportunities
o Identify and close MultiVu revenue opportunities within existing Cision client base
o Manage opportunities to grow and secure new MultiVu revenue nationally, including opportunities with corporations, agencies and brands looking for storytelling support from our MultiVu division
o EAD is responsible for working independently as an industry expert in defined region to close business
o Focused support with key Cision teams such as Insights, Distribution and Enterprise teams to ensure MultiVu solutions are presented to existing, sophisticated Cision clients
o EAD is responsible for positioning complex communications solutions including earned and paid media, content creation and distribution solutions to target audiences
o Work closely with MultiVu operations teams including strategy, project management, media relations, production/creative, live events and paid distribution to ensure we’ve exceeded client expectations

Essential Duties:
- Retention and growth of MultiVu revenue among Cision’s 70K existing clients
- Work with regional Cision reps as SME to identify business opportunities
- Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales goals
- Negotiate all proposals with prospective clients
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports
- Conduct sales presentations to a range of prospective clients
- Understand and promote company services and offerings
- Lead region visibility for MultiVu Services (industry events, etc.)
- Visit clients and potential clients to evaluate needs and promote services
- Maintain client records and sales opportunities via SFDC (Salesforce)
- Answer client questions about solutions, prices and availability
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree
- Minimum of 5 years enterprise sales/business development experience targeting the PR, communications and/or marketing industry
- Minimum of 5 years of planning and executing PR and/or integrated communications strategies/tactics – preferably within agency or corporate environment
- Interest in being well compensated for securing and growing revenue
