As an Essentials Solutions Associate, you would be part of a team that strives to provide value for our customers beyond the building. You will be responsible for developing customer relationships in our real estate portfolio by constantly touring our properties, thus, generating sales leads and providing after-marketing sales support of the Essentials portfolio of products and services in the region. In doing so, you will play a primary role in partnering with real estate customer experience teams to establish relationships with existing customers to expand our Essentials portfolio, in addition to serving as the primary field contact for identified customer segmentations.

What is Prologis Essentials? 

Prologis Essentials is Prologis’s new business line focused on understanding our customers’ needs in order to develop and deliver new value-add programs, products, and services that optimize their warehouse and supply chain operations. Prologis Essentials is re-defining industrial real estate by designing the first warehousing-as-a-service customer experience. We are adding tremendous value for our customers beyond our real estate portfolio and positioning Prologis as a needed expert in providing turnkey industrial warehouse infrastructure solutions. Prologis Essentials is effectively a startup but is growing rapidly and already making an impact on the industry.

What’s needed in order to do that:

  • Educate our customers on the full range of Essentials products and services and promote the benefits resulting from their use. Develop an intimate understanding of our customers' businesses to match our products to satisfy their needs.
  • Expand customer awareness of the full range of Essentials products and services by providing frontline after marketing support in footprint.
  • Drive superior relationships with internal Prologis teams and serve as the primary field point of contact for post-sale opportunities.
  • Communicate directly with and introduce Essentials Solutions Managers as new opportunities are identified and developed, based on customer needs and field feedback.
  • Proactively aid the Customer Experience Team (CET), adding value to Environmental Surveys, Customer Care Visits, and Property Inspections as outlined and determined by designated market.
  • Multiply the efforts of ESM & CET teams by maintaining constant focus on in-person engagement and identify additional revenue opportunities by demonstrating an expert understanding of all Prologis value-added products and services.

Tell us if you’re ready.

  • 3-5 years of B2B sales experience in a fast-paced environment. Quota carrying experience a plus. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of material handling, lighting, automation/robotics, industrial warehouse solutions experience preferred.
  • An understanding of Supply Chain or Procurement operations.
  • Proven consultative sales or account management experience, managing a sales cycle from end to end.
  • A general understanding of Industrial Real Estate a plus.
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM.
  • Enthusiastic, outgoing personality, strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Collaborative nature – desire to help others succeed.
