Overview:
Individual contributor role which consists of covering a territory renewing current customers as well as up-selling/cross selling Trend Micro products to existing customers. Key focus will be customer centric, participating and driving renewals and revenue strategy programs. This position is key to managing the existing customer base within a territory.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Effectively manages renewal of all customers in assigned territory to protect and grow annualized maintenance revenue
- Responsible for pipeline management in assigned territory and accurately updates records within SalesForce on a daily basis
- Accurately forecast their projected revenue attainment to sales management as requested by Manager
- Efficiently handles customer and channel inquiries related to quotes, pricing, co-terming and up-selling
- Maintains the Customer Health-Check Activities through scheduled calls, follow-up emails and updates in SalesForce
- Positively interacts and collaborates with customers and channel partners to ensure a smooth transaction for the customer
- Maintain consistent knowledge of product version updates, pricing and customer and/or channel promotions
- Assist with questions, concerns and product/service questions from RAMs for assigned territory
- Recognize and escalate difficult technical / business issues within the Sales, Customer Support, Customer Service and any other parts of organization
- Revenue/Retention:
- Achieve Quarterly & Annual Revenue Renewal Quota Targets
- Quota based Addressable Renewal for accounts within territory
- Achieve and maintain retention rate target for assigned territory
Qualifications:
- Strong written and verbal communication with a "think like customer"/customer centric perspective
- Ability to adopt and proficiently use internal CRM and other company applications
- Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability
- Effective listener and communicator
- Hardware sales experience a plus
- Successful experience selling to SMB to Enterprise size customers is required
- Results focused with a track record of achievement
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications plus
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience
- 2 years of software sales experience is required
- 3 to 5 years of sales experience required
