Enterprise Automation Sales Specialist
About the job
The Red Hat North American (NA) sales team is looking for an Enterprise Automation Sales Specialist to expand and evangelize Red Hat's Ansible Automation Platform portfolio in the public sector market. In this role, you will work with customers to modernize and implement enterprise automation capabilities into their environments, achieve organization-wide efficiencies, and optimize costs. Successful applicants must reside in a state where Red Hat is registered to do business.
What you will do
- Guide revenue growth of Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform as part of an account team
- Deliver presentations at key industry and Red Hat events to relevant audiences
- Conduct analyses of both commercial offerings and open source projects
- Work with customers, technology partners, and community members to create compelling stories and case studies
- Evangelize benefits of adopting open standards within core vertical business solutions
- Facilitate organizational and workforce transformation, customer and employee experience, and user-centered design
What you will bring
- Background in selling complex customer solutions in a rapidly evolving technology environment
- 5+ years of experience selling infrastructure and datacenter solutions in an enterprise setting
- 3+ years of experience working in a technical architecture role
- 2+ years of experience with automation platforms like Chef, Puppet, or Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform and technical experience with networking, storage, compute, or ServiceNow
- Proven understanding of what it takes to motivate technical audiences; ability to translate that understanding into revenue
- Excellent presentation skills; ability to motivate technical audiences while demonstrating expertise in our offerings
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to executives at large companies
- Ability to sell solutions in an environment with multiple offerings and solutions
- Solid leadership ability to inspire, manage, motivate, and organize people effectively to achieve business targets
- Demonstrated ability to navigate real-world challenges that accompany enterprise-wide technology initiatives
- Passionate about helping organizations reimagine the future of work and workforce experience
- Proven ability to work with global cross-functional teams and achieve success for customers
- Ability to maintain a balance of diplomatic and tactical skills
