JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for leading the Treasury Management Sales Team to develop and maximize their and results. Develop and service banking relationships with treasury customers, both new and existing.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Lead the Treasury Management Sales Process (30%)

  • Solicit business with new customers to the Bank, both through consultation with Commercial Banking and Private Client Services and through individual calling efforts.
  • Develop and Maintain a Treasury Management sales pipeline within NextGen.
  • Establish and maintain a consistent corporate image through all product lines, promotional materials, and events in collaboration with the marketing team
  • Meets with key clients, assisting Bankers with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing new customers.
  • Oversee growth in Merchant Processing Business.


Responsible for All Aspects of Treasury Management Suite of Products (30%)

  • Generate fee income through development and managing of Treasury Management Suite systems.
  • Maintain Treasury Management contracts and processes.
  • Responsible for market analysis reviews of Treasury Management product pricing and other non-lending services including merchant processing and credit cards.
  • Work collaboratively with Chief Information Officer and Cash Management Operations Manager to evaluate, recommend and implement new products as necessary.
  • Attend industry-related training courses to further knowledge base of financial services.
  • Review Treasury Management product offerings to improve product profitability and expand services to meet clients evolving needs.
  • Develop Marketing materials in conjunction with the Marketing area including electronic banking, printed material and other media.
  • Monitor vendor communications on enhancements, scheduled maintenance, added features and functionality.


Leadership (20%)

  • Manages employees within department including but not limited to hiring, training and developing employees, delegating work assignments, writing and conducting performance appraisals, salary recommendations, coaching and counseling, and administering corrective actions.


Referrals (10%)

  • Pursue new business opportunities through actively involving commercial lending, private client services, mortgage lending, and branch delivery as an integrated team.
  • Establish periodic meetings, determining strategy, executing on that strategy, and documenting results.


Provide Extraordinary Service to Divisions (5%)

  • Identify and provide suggestions for improving the efficiencies and effectiveness of processes and procedures within the department.


Other Duties as Assigned (5%)

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of all aspects of bank products, services and operations, as well as strong proficiency with banking systems - paying and receiving/new accounts/loans and related programs
  • Working knowledge and understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
  • Working knowledge and understanding of web browsers (e.g. Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Firefox, etc.) and how they work with treasury management systems
  • Solid proficiency in troubleshooting PC, treasury management products and system application issues independently with timely resolution
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills with the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical people, articulating complex technical ideas into layman's terms
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex account structures and make appropriate recommendations for customers and prospects.
  • Ability to multi-task and remain flexible in an ever-changing payment processing environment.
  • Ability to possess a valid driver's license and have clean driving record in order to conduct essential functions of the job
  • Ability to travel 15% of the time to attend client meetings, events, conferences, etc.
  • Ability to maintain regular and reliable attendance.
  • Ability to complete required training by assigned due date.


EDUCATION*

  • Minimum of a four year college degree required (with emphasis in business or finance preferred) required
  • CTP or CCM certification desired.


EXPERIENCE*

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Treasury Management required
  • Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience.
  • Experience with Fiserv related products preferred
  • ACH experience desired.
