We are looking for a Director of Sales Training to create and implement an amazing sales training and onboarding program. In this role, you will be responsible for gathering requirements, scoping, developing, and executing selling skills programs that are customized for ProducePay reporting directly to the SVP of Sales Operations. You will be a first-class coach with a proven track record of building a sales training program from scratch along with a deep understanding of sales processes, sales methodologies, sales presentations, objection handling, solution selling, and negotiations. Since this will be a new program it will be important to know how to build and architect a sales training and sales onboarding program from scratch.

Responsibilities

  • Build/design sales training and onboarding program
  • Produce sales tools to aid in in-person and remote training
  • Collaborate closely with Sales and cross-functional leaders
  • Train on prospecting, sales process, product, objections, and closing
  • Training one on one and continuous team training, including onboarding of new hires
  • Work closely with HR to collaborate on new hire training
  • Ability to create content for training materials
  • Report on the impact of training programs with individual reps
  • Maintain updated records of training material and curricula

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Sales Trainer and Coach
  • Proven track record of supporting solution selling
  • Successfully built training and onboarding programs from scratch
  • Successful experience as a quota bearing sales representative
  • Ability to manage the full training cycle, including in-person activities and web-based learning
  • Hands-on experience with e-learning platforms
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Undergraduate Degree
  • Additional certifications in training is a plus
