Joining Collibra's Sales Ops team:

Collibra is looking for a Director/Sr. Director to lead our Sales Operations team. In this highly visible role, you will be leading a team of Sales Operations professionals, partnering with Sales and cross-functional leaders to drive successful go-to-market execution. Your responsibilities will include virtually every aspect of running a sales organization. The ideal candidate should have exceptional business acumen, analytical abilities, and people leadership skills. We are seeking an ops leader who can recognize opportunities to drive business growth, find areas of process improvement, and can lead a team to bring go-to-market ideas into fast market execution.

The Director/Sr Director, Sales Operations at Collibra is responsible for:

  • Partnering with Sales, Marketing, Product, HR, and Finance to develop annual plans for go-to-market teams including sales segmentation, coverage model, territories, quota, compensation plans, and New ARR and Renewal targets
  • Supporting senior sales leaders in-year to execute against Plan by managing the business cadence and surfacing data-driven insights to address issues and opportunities   
  • Hiring and developing a high performing team of Sales operations professionals
  • Coordinating and driving x-functional pipeline management efforts, including setting pipeline creation targets and other critical go-to-market benchmarks across the company
  • Monitoring business performance - actual vs planned bookings, sales capacity, cross-functional resource ratios, and sales performance and productivity;  developing frameworks, models, and processes to improve forecasting accuracy

You Have

  • 10+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or an equivalent role
  • Strong leadership experience; both in leading a team and influencing C-level executives
  • Strong expertise in sales segmentation, territory planning, quota setting, compensation, and benchmarking
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to translate business decisions into quantitative models and frameworks
  • Deep fluency with building and analyzing reports from Salesforce
  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA a plus

  • Highly collaborative and empathetic; hands-on and willing to roll up sleeves to address operational issues and help your colleagues
  • Based in the United States

Reporting to Collibra’s VP of Sales Operations, measures of success are:

  • Within your first month, you will help become intimately familiar in our FY22 go-to-market plan, quickly providing valuable insight into how we should be rolling out territories, quotas, and sales policies
  • By the end of your third month, you will have developed a strong understanding of our sales and ops capabilities, and identified resources, processes, and technologies that can help address any gaps; you will also have developed working relationships with all key stakeholders
  • By the end of your sixth month, you will be developing the next evolution of Collibra’s Go-to-market plan, incorporating lessons learned from the previous planning cycle
