Cambria's sports partnerships group will be aligned with the Corporate Sales team. The Director of Sports Partnerships will be tasked with the responsibility below, as well as leading an account manager that will assist with generating new accounts, and fostering existing ones. The Cambria marketing department would retain a sports marketing strategist, under the event marketing team, to execute team partnerships.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain close relationships with key influencers within sports organizations, including corporate partnership teams, executives, ownership and other team sponsors
  • Identity and pursue team and ownership group partnerships with significant commercial sales attached (within stadiums/arenas, and other properties)
  • Collaborate with sports organizations to develop customized partnerships; negotiate terms and conditions, present proposals to leadership for approval; kick off campaigns amongst key players within marketing department
  • Oversee all corporate sales relationships within the sports industry including project management, product fulfillment, marketing spend-back and marketing initiatives
  • Create customized partnerships based on the strengths within each individual team and the business needs in the market
  • Initiate business conversations within broader corporate partner networking groups across the US and Canada to drive additional sales opportunities
  • Manage product fulfillment with teams and affiliated businesses, including both purchased and traded product
  • Drive awareness of current sports partnership activities internally and through channel partners
  • Communicate partnership strategy through an integrated communication plan to leverage promotion across all applicable channels
  • Handle any local sponsorship initiatives as directed by sales leadership/ownership
  • Identify opportunities for communication with key influencers within the sports



Requirements

  • Strong business knowledge and financial acumen
  • Excellent critical thinking, organizational and timely follow up skills that reflects in calendar management and CRM updates
  • Strong sales skills with a proven track record of being customer-focused
  • Ability to build strong professional relationships with internal and external parties
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Influential skills to gain support and inspire others
  • Entrepreneurial, self-motivated with the ability to work independently from home office
  • Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, and fiscal responsibility
  • Ability to work extended and varying hours as needed



Minimum Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing or something related
Experience: 7 + years' experience years in business to business sales preferably in the sports segment
Systems: Google Suites, Microsoft Suites and Salesforce

Additional Requirements:

Travel Requirements: This position will require roughly 50% travel
Physical Requirements: Have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, set up and tear down marketing materials.
