How will this role have an impact?

With an overall focus on accelerating deal velocity and mitigating risk for our Sales organization, the Director of Sales Operations is a key player on our Go to Market team accountable for optimizing operational effectiveness to maximize revenue growth.  The Director of Sales Operations will be focused on developing the upper funnel and driving campaigns with prospects, organization-wide performance tracking, pipeline governance, and implementing data driven process improvements in line with strategic priorities, managing the Sales tech stack accordingly.

This role will report to our Solution Design and Sales Operations Leader.

What will you do?

    • Pipeline Strategy & Execution: Influence Go To Market leadership decisions through thoughtful data informed input regarding territory development, deal prioritization, and workforce management.  Assist in implementation and change management related to strategic initiatives, driving adequate data collection and documentation.  Develop standard reports and dashboards for book of business management, scoping custom reporting needs when necessary and partnering with relevant teams to adequately deliver all Sales data needs.
  • Lead Development & Management: Maintain effective top-of-funnel lead management process and strategy, ensuring that Marketing generated leads are efficiently transitioned to Sales for pursuit.  Partner with Marketing Operations to implement effective upper funnel activities and strategy. 
  • Team Development: Recruit, hire, and manage a team of inside sales professionals to drive engagement and accelerate deals in the upper funnel. Provide clear direction and goals and support team members development and career progression.
  • Deal Oversight & Governance: Support successful revenue growth by coordinating effective deal governance, ensuring that Sales pursuits are aligned with enterprise wide strategy and appropriately supported by downstream stakeholders.
  • Sales Methodology & Best Practices:  Drive continued growth through data driven process innovation and best practice evolution.  Partner with cross functional stakeholders to eliminate bottlenecks within Sales cycle, optimizing deal velocity.
  • Contracting Coordination & Oversight: Act as Sales liaison within streamlined interdepartmental contracting process, ensuring associated tasks are completed and communication delivered in a timely manner that eliminates internal confusion and increases deal velocity.
  • Performance Tracking & Optimization: Own KPI tracking and reporting for all growth related activities for the enterprise.  Partner with FP&A to forecast future performance and set bookings targets.  Continuously monitor organization wide performance against targets, surfacing areas of concern and partnering with stakeholders to establish improvement strategies.

We are looking for someone with:

  • A Bachelor’s degree is required; Master’s degree is preferred
  • 6-10+ years of relevant operations experience, preferably in healthcare or technology
  • Experience successfully designing, building, and managing operations teams for fast growing client-facing organizations
  • Experience performing data analysis and driving user adoption within CRM & BI tools
  • Excellent communications skills, including verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
  • Superior project management skills and an orientation to plan and organize work and teams
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and skill set that can build for purpose, actualize, and continuously improve in a fast-paced environment
